Welcome and thank your for giving us your time. We are going to let you try a prototype in order to improve our prototype. You can take as much time as needed and do not be stressed. There is no right or wrong answer. All comments will be welcome. We are working on a WishList application. We are asking you to try to do the following points and make comments aloud when trying. Seeing what you think will happen, how you feel with the application, what you are trying to do… is very helpful for us.
Please open the application by opening the web side http://www.edmida.net/wishl/week4.php! Would you please have a look in your general wishlist? It didn’t open on the first click. But after some other clicks. Can you add a new gift? Yes she can, but the gift wasn’t saved. Have you seen, that you can rate your gift? Yes she have, but she doesn’t really know, what the star are for. Can you create a new list, for instance a birth or weeding list? Yes she can, but she was confused, that she can’t change the name or that she can’t insert a name before the new list was added. Can you add item in this list? Yes, she can. But the new list looks like the list before. Can you see your connection? Yes, she switched to the right side. Can you add a new person? No, there was no button for that. Can you choose a person and see his list? Yes, she saw Thomas-Side. Can you choose a product on a friend’s side? Yes. Can you try to buy this product? She was a little confused by the question. She doesn’t know if we mean, that she “take” the product or that she has to see some “shops” for buying the camera. But she saw both functions, and she know, what the functions mean. Can do see all the items as list? Yes, she found it and clicks on the “Show as List”-Button. Can you print the list? Yes. Can you try to select another gift and try to make a group gift? No, she can’t select another gift, because Thomas just has one wish on his list. Yes, she found this function. But she was confused by the label of the first column. She thought, that the persons in this column are the person for the group gift. We have to change the label! Can you send a message to others? She was confused by the question. She pressed the button for “Send the Wishlist” as an email. She doesn’t found the function for asking other persons who already got this gift for their birthday, etc. Eventually we have to change the label of the button in something like “Other people who already got this gift”, but it could be, that we only have to change the question J After we clear up Beatrix, she found the function, but she was confused, that no “Message Box” was opening. Can you change your settings? Yes, she found, that she has to go to “GoHome” and then go to “MySettings”. Can you open the help-side? Yes, she found it, but she finds it funny, that we have no good questions and answers on this side and that they are in Latin. What do you think is behind the “Category”-Function? She has the correct idea, that she only gets shown the Products in one Category like books or DVDs. She finds it funny, that these function has still no function, because it is a prototype. What do you think is behind the “Price”-Function? She has the correct idea, that these function sort the products after their price.
