Conclusion: Principles of a modified-design
We learned from our interviews that saving time is important. The users declared that making a gift in common requires times and it is not really easy to manage the content of information providing by sending mail to a large amount of persons. They are interested in price comparison tools.
They mentioned the problem of using our applications with a majority of young people because to work most of the people who know the person to whom a gift want to be offer have to be registered and in their family some member, in particular the elders, do not use the internet.
They often consider in priority utile gifts than original ones to avoid making mistakes. It will be helpful to them to have the ability to choose.
In our application, we should also provide places where people would like to be. They told us that they like to be invited to some restaurants they heard the name by friends or maybe a suggestion of places matching with the taste/ character of the person (restaurants, sports places…).
Design-Principles
- We remarked that not all users like all functions. Therefore the application should give the ability to personalize the functions according to users needs.
- The application should be easy to use and clear, because children are part of the target audience.
